CECI FUENTES, LPCC

Hello!

My name is Ceci Fuentes. and I am a bilingual Associate Professional Clinical Counselor providing therapy in English, Spanish, and Spanglish. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from CSU Sacramento in Child Development and my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in School Counseling and Professional Clinical Counseling from the University of San Francisco.

I’d like to start off by congratulating you on taking the courageous first step towards your healing journey. As a daughter of Mexican immigrants and a first-generation Latina, I understand the importance of having a therapist who understands the complexity of our intersecting identities. Throughout my personal healing journey, I have recognized the value of having a therapist that makes one feel seen, heard, and understood. You are the leader of your journey. My role is to meet you where you are with kindness, tools, and guidance. I am passionate about working with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ folx who need support navigating life transitions, and imposter syndrome. My clinical experience consists of working with individuals and families who have suffered from trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, and academic concerns. I welcome clients from all walks of life and gather from different evidence-based modalities to serve my client’s unique needs. My goal is to provide a safe and inclusive environment that allows vulnerability for you to blossom as your authentic self…flaws and all. I don’t believe anyone needs “fixing”. I believe humans need support, compassion, humor, and an ally in their corner to help them embrace their inner strengths. I am an advocate for social justice and consider myself a trauma-informed and culturally competent therapist. I believe the most rewarding part of being a therapist is watching my clients transform into empowered human beings as they overcome challenges that at one point seemed impossible.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, trying out new restaurants (a true foodie at heart!), watching Netflix, traveling, and working out.
